The Wrought Iron Grill is one of Mid-Michigan’s Premier caterers. Owner John Lowman has over 15 years experience catering weddings, corporate events, open houses, holiday parties and family reunions. The Wrought Iron Grill is a preferred caterer at Michigan State University as well as the Shiawassee Arts Council and Lansing’s Old Town Marquee. Each event is carefully planned to suit the need of each client and to insure a successful event. Our well trained and professional staff sees to every detail, setting ourselves apart from other caterers.
The Wrought Iron Grill is the perfect place for all of your banquet needs. Headed by owner, John Lowman and Chef Brian Pierce the Wrought Iron Grill offers a warm and inviting atmosphere and hand crafted American cuisine with local flavors! Our experienced and professional staff with be there to insure that all details are covered and you and your guests will enjoy your event, stress free! Located in historic Woodard Station, the Wrought Iron Grill is Mid-Michigan’s premier restaurant and banquet facility. The 110 year old former furniture factory has a industrial feel with high ceilings, exposed duct work, and lots of windows to give you and your guest a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Mayfield Room can accommodate up to 110 people and is perfect for weddings, corporate events, fund raisers, birthday celebrations to name a few. Our wine cellar themed Sierra Room is more intimate and can hold 23 people around a beautiful harvest table while lending itself to total privacy.
*Please choose up to three entrees for your guests to choose from the night of your event. All entrees are served with a house salad, fresh Breadsmith epy’s, seasonal vegetable, Chef’s starch and unlimited non alcoholic beverages(soft drinks, tea, coffee). Prices listed do not reflect 6% sales tax or gratuity of 20%.
We have a fully stocked bar, a great selection of Michigan microbrews, and mid-Michigan’s finest wine list. We can assist you with appetizer, entree, wine and dessert choices. Linens are available for a modest fee. We guarantee our room private for 60 or more people and ask for a $200.00 room deposit which will be deducted from your final bill. Deposits will also be refunded if cancelation is done two weeks prior to the event. Cancelations after the two weeks has expired will be refunded only if the room is re-booked.
For weddings or any other event that requires the use of the room all day for set up and decorating purposes there is a $400.00 room fee for the Mayfield Room and $200.00 for the Chantilly Room.
We have a full dessert menu and encourage you to order off of that. However, if you would like to bring in your own dessert we have a $1.00 per person service charge
